Teaching and learning in Years 11 and 12 combines rigorous HSC preparation with Novoschool’s personalised and purposeful approach to education. Specialist teachers, small classes and individual mentoring allow students to be known, challenged and closely supported. Alongside their HSC courses, students continue to develop independence, critical thinking and real-world capabilities, preparing them for university, further education, employment and life beyond school.
HSC Subjects
Students are encouraged to shape their senior studies around their interests, strengths and future aspirations. Our students can select subjects across disciplines and build an HSC program that reflects their individual goals.
HSC subjects include: English Standard, Advanced or Ext, Mathematics Standard, Advanced or Ext, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Ancient History, Modern History, Geography, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Community and Family Studies, Design and Technology, and Visual Arts.
